Our Journey

Established in the Fall of 2012, La Dee Da Studio was created out of a passion for the arts and a curiosity for early childhood learning. Based on her own experiences as a relatively new mother at the time, Creative Director, Sugandha Rosenhaft observed that her own two children had very different learning styles. Her daughter Samara, was more of a visual learner, whereas Liam loved to explore his world through logic and hands-on activities. Sugandha also observed how creative play and exploration played a huge part in their early development. Keeping her own children as her main inspiration, a lot of research into different learning styles and importance of tactile and sensory stimulation, and drawing from her own art enriched childhood, La Dee Da was created out of a love and curiosity for the arts, alongside very calculated methodology. Our Philosophy

We are rooted in the idea that art and creativity are fundamental to the development of a well-rounded childhood and are meaningful, valuable forms of self-expression for children and adults. Our arts and crafts curriculum instills confidence and harbors growth and development while fostering creative thinking – a necessary practice for personal expression, self-reflection and fun for all ages.

We believe that art is a lifelong journey. This belief has led many professional artists, inventors, photographers, storytellers and creative individuals on long-term rewarding paths. Every artist must start on his or her own creative path.
