Rip, Snip, Tear and Create (Preschoolers; Ages 3 – 6)

I​n this week-long process based art camp, children will be introduced to the adventures in collage making! We will work with colored tissue paper, newspaper, fabric and buttons, painted and torn paper and more to create unique assemblages that provide opportunities for open ended creativity! Using Eric Carle as inspiration, we will hone in on some essential fine motor skills like cutting and pasting. We will use natural materials to stamp and create patterns. Artists will go home with a portfolio of beautiful process based art that is uniquely their own.
